Smiling's My Favorite

Not much to write about lately. Am I uninspired? Or uninterested?

Either way, it's finally Christmas time. And I took the opportunity to decorate my apartment tonight and even though it's not finished, it is definitely well on it's way. I want my house to look like a Christmas workshop, because what other time of year can decorate like crazy, and be considered normal?

Filling Up the Room

It's Thanksgiving time! It's a holiday that is often overlooked by Christmas approaching, but it's a great chance to be with family and to remember exactly what keeps us thankful and grounded. I love fall decorations and have tried to make my apartment as festive as possible.

But Christmas is close behind, and I'm very proud to say I've already finished a lot of my shopping. Hopefully, I don't forget what I bought everyone and then buy another present. That would be a typical move on my part. :)

After all...

I'll wait

Even though I don't feel like we should be told what to do by celebrities, and even though I don't agree with some of their views in this video, it is a good video reminding you that no matter what you believe, or how you want this election to go. You have the right to vote.

Don't listen to the celebrities, listen to yourself, and resolve the choice for you. Even if the election doesn't go the way you planned, by voting you give yourself the right to continue to fight for what you believe in.

And remember, God is in control of this election. He knows exactly what is happening and how it will better his children. I have faith that no matter the outcome, we are safely and securely in the arms of the only leader that truly matters. So pray, and then vote.
